More on What the People don't want

The least liked song is 21 minutes long. It involves an soprano opera singer doing rap and cowboy music. There are accordians and bagpipes in the background. And a children's choir. There are lyrics about religion and holidays. I find it really amusing.

Actually, the most favorite song is kinda bland. It blends in with all the, well, pop music that comes out. Apparently a lot of people like the least favorite more, just because it has a lot more personality.

Paint by Number

What if paintings were based on statistics?

These artists took extensive surveys of several countries about what they wanted in paintings, and then did pieces of artwork based on "what the people want." The US "Most Wanted" painting has a landscape with deer, a family and George Washington on it:) You can even look at the statistics on this website! I find it fascinating, frankly.

They also produced songs based on similar types of research!

'06

We just installed AutoCAD 2006 at work! I'm such a nerd that I'm excited about this. My job today is to test and try to find the weak points in the sheet management system...

I recommend www.thislife.org to listen to if you're bored -- it's quite fascinating:)

Birthday Par-tay!

Hey All, Lisa's birthday is coming up, and while you don't hear a lot (read: nothing) from me on THIS website I felt it was my duty to inform you of some of the things she would like. Simply point your browsers over to Amazon.com and take a look at the things she would like. (Of course she didn't list it but she really would like gift certificates from ThinkGeek.com and Fry's as well. (But Shhhh, don't tell her I told you.))

Just doing my husbandly duty!
